At Summer Hill Farms our goal is to produce confident and effective riders at every level from Short Stirrup to Grand Prix. The safety and comfort of both horse and rider is paramount with an emphasis on correctness of training and attention to detail.
The lesson program at Summer Hill Farms is designed to meet the individual goals of each and every rider, whether your interest is to ride for pleasure or to compete at the highest level of the sport.
We offer private lessons for one–on-one instruction, as well as semi-private and group lessons where riders are matched according to their ability and goals. Lessons packages are available.

Evaluation and A La Carte lessons are available to anyone looking for a single lesson
Offered Tuesday-Thursday. Arrive at 9:00 am, pick up 1:00 pm.
Individual rides 2 times each day and receives horsemanship skills instruction.
Lunch not provided.
Available year round.
$280.00 per month for one lesson per week (4)
$520.00 per month for two lessons per week (8)
$720.00 per month for three lessons per week (12)
$1,000.00 per month for Accelerated Riding Program ( 4+ lessons per week)
$20.00 – Haul in Facility usage fee applies
Class is open to children 5 yrs and younger. The class will include an introduction to horsemanship, safety and grooming. 20 minute riding lesson.
Monthly Package (Includes 4 lessons) – $220.00
*All package payments are due on the 1st of the month. A 24 hour notice must be given, in the event of a lesson cancellation. The lesson will be forfeited, without refund should notice not be given. Makeup must be taken within 30 days, credit will not be issued for unused lessons.
